Dear Nick:

\J
I hope you have made some progress with the arm electronics and have the
first prototype already hooked up to the computer. When I left, the arm was
completely wired, execpt for the hand pot element. This will be sent
to you shortly. I left instructions with both Russ Noftsker and Fred Dhrenken(sp?),
so should their be any small maintainance problems they will have both the drawings,
and some little knowledge about what may be wrong. If anything major happens, I
left the shipping box there. It only takes 3 days door to door each way by UPS.

Enclosed, you will find a bill
and some documentation of expenses I have incurred
for the arm. Actually, the figure represents the costs for the first arm and also a
good bit of work on the second arm.
In addition,
there is included some costs for spare parts I provided. I hope the sum seems reasonable
and proper. I might add, that even though much higher than originally forcast, it still
represents less than a break even sum for me at the present time, as I have not included
any accounting for my time spent on the arm.

Feel free to contact me anytime.\.
