			      Victor Scheinman


	This is a brief resume of my dissertation topic related experience
to complement my application.


1965-1966 and 1967-1968- Research Assistantship-Stanford Mech. Eng. Dept.-Design and
		development of computer controlled arms for the Stanford Artificial 
		Intelligence Project.

1968-1969 - Devol Research Co. Fellowship- Awarded by School of Engineering for
		work on general purpose manipulators and machines. Designed
		the Stanford Arm and produced my Engineers Deg. thesis "Design of
		a Computer Controlled Manipulator"

1969 - Staff member of Stanford Artificial Intelligence Project- Manipulator and
		computer controlled device design.

1969-1970- Raychem Corporation- Engineer- Automation Engineering Group- Design of
		automated manufacturing and assembly equipment.

1972-Mass. Inst. of Tech.-Artificial Intelligence Lab.-invited staff member- 
		manipulator design and development.


1970-Present - Staff member Stanford Artificial Intelligence Project- Computer 
		controlled device design and development.
