00600		About  60  brave  souls  from 20 countries risked the cholera
00700	epidemic to attend this first international conference  organized  by
00800	IFTOM  (International  Federation of ) and CISM(Centre Internationale
00900	for Science and Mechanics), held in the small northern city of Udine,
01000	located about 100 miles from Venice at the base of the Italian Alps.

01200		During the four and a half day conference papers were presented

03100	the spring of 1976, in Poland, with an increased number of participants 
03200	and more time allotted for discussions and the showing of films and hardware.

03320	at the symposium and present plans are to reset all the papers in
03330	type and formally publish the preceedings in book formThe anticipated
